# Arrow Business Development: Project Proposal [Vote Open]

**Snapshot vote: opens Monday 3 August 2026, runs one week, closes Monday 10 August 2026.** I am starting the project **at my own risk on Monday 3 August 2026** , ahead of the close — if the vote does not pass, I receive nothing for work done in the interim. The term runs **28 weeks (7 four-week pay periods)** from that date, with funding expiring **~15 February 2027** so the DAO actively reviews rather than auto-renews.

One DAO-level project, led by me (Alex), on the same gated pay-on-delivery model as Media, Docs & Compass:

An outbound partner pipeline across five categories: supply chain & manufacturing (feeding AIP-009 participant onboarding), tokenomics & launch partners, software & licensing, content & media sales, and distribution & operators. No objections were raised during the three-week discussion window (open since 14 July).

## Payment gate

Gated on **pipeline facilitation, not signatures** — closed deals are reported but never gate pay. Each line pro-rates independently against its share of the cap; a strong line can’t rescue a weak one.

**Monthly floors:** ≥ 10 new qualified pipeline entries (logged publicly with rationale and status) · ≥ 4 substantive contacts progressed (evidence linked) · 1 monthly BD report to the forum.

**Quarterly:** ≥ 2 partnership briefs · category map refresh.

## Parameters finalized from discussion

- **Term locked at 28 weeks (7 four-week pay periods)**, up from the 26 weeks in the discussion draft, to align cleanly with AIP-004 pay periods and match the Media/Docs/Compass term structure.
- **Midpoint checkpoint at week 14 (week of 2 November 2026):** a midpoint report plus a 7-day continue/wind-down sentiment poll, on the same mechanics as Media/Docs/Compass (net-negative at 2M $ARROW quorum triggers a binding halt-vote; funding stops at week 14 pro-rated to delivered work).

- **Work begins (at the leader’s risk):** Monday 3 August 2026 — the remaining Shenzhen supplier visits land inside period 1
- **Midpoint review:** week of 2 November 2026 (week 14 of 28)
- **Term ends:** ~15 February 2027, with an end-of-term review to renew or wind down

Compensation disburses at the end of each 4-week period, once the accountability table shows that period’s criteria were met.

## Snapshot vote

**Question:** Shall the DAO approve the Arrow Business Development project, led by Alex (@[Alexander\_Dada](https://dao.arrowair.com/u/Alexander_Dada/activity)), with a funding-eligibility start of 3 August 2026 (work begun at the leader’s risk ahead of this vote), for a 28-week term of 7 four-week pay periods (funding expiring ~15 February 2027), with a midpoint continuation checkpoint at week 14, under the gated pay-on-delivery terms above (per-period cap **$1,920** , maximum **$13,440** across the term, released only against delivery)? A pass approves the project and its funding on these terms; it is then officially recorded via an amendment to the AIP-007 projects list.
